PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which can be suitably used as a potable electric supply for a potable electrical apparatus or the like, and is excellent in security and charging/discharging characteristics with a high capacity, and has a high capacity maintenance factor in repeated usage for a long time. SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a positive electrode and a negative electrode in which active material is carried with a binder on a collector and which are disposed via a separator impregnated with a nonaqueous electrolyte, the active material of the negative electrode or the positive electrode is covered at its surface with resin whose bending elastic modulus is not more than 10,000 kgf/cm2, and it is preferable that the resin be a polyamide elastomer whose binding elastic modulus is not more than 10,000 kgf/cm2. |
