PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner having an air suction opening at a side surface thereof so as to efficiently suck air from a region broader than a conventional one. SOLUTION: An upper surface of an upper case of an air cleaner P1 is provided with a diffuser and air suction openings 13a are provided at both side surfaces of a front case 13, respectively. Further, a pair of doors 6, 7 are provided in front of the front case 13 being rotatable right and left. Furthermore the doors 6, 7 are provided with air introducing paths 6b, 7b, respectively. The air introducing paths 6b, 7b are provided with first openings 6c, 7c for introducing outside air, respectively, and second openings 6d, 7d, respectively, for introducing forward the air introduced from the first openings. When the doors 6, 7 are fully opened, air is sucked from the air introducing paths 6b, 7b through the air suction openings 13a, 13a.
