PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe a natural three-dimensional image and to observe a two-dimensional and a three-dimensional image together or by switching by matching the convergence position of luminous flux from a light beam array with the focus position of a cylindrical lens. SOLUTION: The focus position of the cylindrical lens 10a is matched with the convergence point f1a of a light convergence system 16. The focus position of a lens 16a of the light convergence system 16 meets a light emission point Ln of a liquid crystal panel. The light convergence system 16 consists of a condenser lens 16a, a stop 16c which prescribes a beam diameter, and a pinhole 16b which improves the parallelism of the parallel beam emitted from the cylindrical lens 10a. Thus, the light convergence point is arranged at the focus position of the cylindrical lens 10a to eliminate the divergence of the light beam and a blur of a three-dimensional image is eliminated. Further, lens pitch (m) may be relatively small by nearly equalizing the pitch of the cylindrical lens to the pitch of a light emission element, and further the amplitude of the lens may be small, which is advantageous in mechanism. |
