PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the malfunction of a machine or the illegal data in a non-volatile RAM caused by noise in advance by comparing specified potential for comparison with the potential of the power source wire of a control part, thereby deciding whether or not the noise is produced. SOLUTION: A PSU 102 is provided with a power source part for comparison as a DC power source which generates and outputs the potential for comparison independently of the power source part of the control part. The output from the power source part for comparison is inputted in a comparison part 202 together with a power source wire 103 of a control part 104. The potential for comparison is set to the value of a boundary between a potential range where normal image forming operation can be executed when it is applied as DC power source voltage to the power source wire 103 of the control part 104, and a potential range where the normal image forming operation can not be executed, that is, a lower limited value at which the normal image forming operation can be executed. The comparison part 202 compares the potential of the power source wire 103 of the control part 104 with the potential for comparison, and outputs a Low signal when the potential of the power source wire 103 of the control part 104 is a value lower than the potential for comparison caused by the production of the noise and outputs a High signal in other cases. |
