<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a high quality image by improving an efficiency of incident light with respect to a liquid crystal device of such a constitution as is provided with a light-shielding film under TFTs(Thin Film Transistors) for switching pixels and micro lenses on a counter substrate. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device is provided with a liquid crystal layer 50 held between a pair of substrates, and pixel electrodes 9a arranged in a matrix form on a TFT array substrate 10. A 1st light-shielding film 11a is formed under each TFT 30 of pixels, and at least partially specifies light- shielding areas. On a counter substrate, plural micro lenses 500 and a 2nd light- shielding film 23 flatly covered in the light-shielding area are formed.</p> |
