CATALYTIC BURNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a catalytic burner from burning imperfectly because of shortage of an air quantity at the time of catalytic burning resulting from equality of an air quantity in ignition to that in catalytic burning. SOLUTION: A shutter 21 having a through-hole 22 with a diameter approximately equal to an outside diameter of a gas-injecting nozzle 15 is provided between an air suction ejector 16 and the gas-injecting nozzle 15. The shutter 21 is movable by temperature-detecting means 23 provided on a combustion part 11. Performance of ignition and catalytic burning are improved by controlling the supply of fuel gas injected from a fuel tank 19 and varying an air quantity at the time of ignition and catalytic burning.
