PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency power amplifier which lowers an impedance conversion ratio with a simple configuration and has high efficiency and a broad band. SOLUTION: This high frequency power amplifier which parallelly connects plural MMIC unit amplifiers 3a to 3d and performs power amplification is provided with impedance conversion circuits 4a to 4d which are respectively connected to the subsequent stages of each MMIC unit amplifier 3a to 3d and convert the output impedance of each amplifier 3a to 3d into intermediate impedance and an impedance conversion/power synthetic circuit 5 which synthesizes outputs from each circuit 4a to 4d and also converts the output impedance into desired impedance.
