摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a pinhole at good precision in a short time after air is filled by using an air flow meter for a leakage detecting device. SOLUTION: The air pressure of an air source 40 is decompressed in the range of the set pressure of 0-0.014 MPa (0-0.14 kgf/cm2)by a pressure reducing valve 41, and air is sealed in a hollow container 44 under inspection via an air leakage detector 45 by switching a solenoid valve 42. The presence or absence of a pinhole of the container 44 is detected by the detector 45 after waiting for the air sealing time (sec). A mass flow meter provided with a float position detecting sensor is used for the air leakage detector 45, and an air leakage, if any, can be measured at the resolution of 0.1 L/min. When air flows, a float is lifted to turn off the detector 45, thereby a defective item can be detected.
