PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image tube small in degradation of resolution. SOLUTION: An image tube is provided with an input part having an input screen 13 to convert an X-ray image into an electron image, an output part to convert the electron image converted by the input part into a visual image, and a vacuum envelope 11 provided with the input part and the output part. A surface of an input substrate 12 on which the input screen 13 is ground by a granular abrasive.
