PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the remote network monitoring device where communication of a communication device resident in a segment in which the remote network monitoring device is installed is not disturbed even when huge data are transferred between the remote network monitoring device and a network management terminal. SOLUTION: The remote network monitoring device is provided with a condition registration section 108 for registering a threshold value, a threshold value excess consecutive time and a frame transmission waiting time of various management items. The condition registration section 108 always refers to the threshold value with the threshold value excess consecutive value during data collection and stores the frame transmission waiting time registered with the conditions in a transmission waiting time registration section 107 when the conditions are satisfied, and the transmission waiting time stored in the transmission waiting time registration section 107 is acquired when a network management terminal requests values of management items, and a reply frame is transmitted by using the transmission waiting time as a transmission interval.
