PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and quickly control the recording power of light beam. SOLUTION: This optical disk recording method consists of such a manner as pits having the lengths of 3T-11T (where, T is the reference period of the length in the direction of a track) are formed on lands by the irradiation against the optical disk 1 with the light beam for recording. At this time, reflection signals made by the light reflected from the optical disk 1 on the recorded part and the unrecorded part are subjected to sample-and-hold respectively at the prescribed timing, and these values of the sample-and-hold and the prescribed reference level are compared respectively, then the powers of the light beams on the recorded part and the unrecorded part is controlled in accordance with the comparison results. |
