PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient cooling capacity by combining a vapor compression type refrigerating machine with an adsorption type refrigerating machine and also to make an adsorbing unit small in size. SOLUTION: Let-out air is cooled by an adsorption type refrigerating machine 50 (indoor heat exchanger 41) and then re-cooled by a vapor compression type refrigerating machine 100 (evaporator 24). Thereby the evaporation temperature of the adsorption type refrigerating machine 50 can be made higher than that obtained in the case when cooling is conducted by the adsorption type refrigerating machine 50 after it is conducted by the vapor compression type refrigerating machine 100. Therefore it is possible to lessen the quantity of adsorbent and to make an adsorbing unit small in size.
