摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the gradient of piping to be measured accurately by securing such that the central axis of an inclination sensor will be in parallel with that of the piping when a base member is positioned with respect to the piping by means of a positioning member. SOLUTION: The piping gradient measuring apparatus body 10 is provided with a base 11 having opposite end parts secured with V gauges 12 by means of screws 13. The base 11 is positioned with respect to piping by pressing the V gauge 12 against the piping. The piping gradient measuring apparatus body 10 is also provided with a sensor attitude adjusting jig 20 and the central axis of an inclination sensor 30 is adjusted to be in parallel with that of the piping using adjusting screws 24-27 when the V gauge 12 is pressed against the piping. Consequently, movement of a movable electrode built in the inclination sensor 30 is constant regardless of the angle at which the inclination sensor 30 is pressed against the piping. According to the arrangement, the position for pressing the V gauge 12 is not limited at the time of measuring the gradient and the inclination angle can be measured by pressing the V gauge 12 to an arbitrary position.
