PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity, excellent in potential stability in a repeated use and excellent in the dispersibility of a manufacturing coating liquid by manufacturing a photoconductor having a layer containing at least titanyl phthalocyanine and one kind of a specific bis-azo pigment, and providing a photosensitive layer made of the photoconductor on a conductive base. SOLUTION: A photoconductor having a layer containing at least titanyl phthalocyanine and one kind of a specific bis-azo pigment is manufactured, and a photosensitive layer made of this photoconductor is provided on a conductive base to form an electrophotographic photoreceptor. In the formula, CP1, CP2 indicate different coupler residues respectively. A high-sensitivity photoconductive layer can be formed by the manufacturing method, and the electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity and little abnormal image, excellent in the electrification potential and residual potential of the photoreceptor in a repeated use and excellent in the dispersibility and stability of a coating liquid during manufacture can be obtained.
