<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy high definition and high numerical aperture, and to prevent elements from being destroyed by static electricity. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display panel has a constitution, wherein it has a pair of substrates and liquid crystal interposed between the pair of substrates; one of the pair of substrates has a gate bus line 26, plural drain bus lines 28 arranged in the direction perpendicular to the gate bus line, plural pixel electrodes 22, and plural thin film transistors 30; each thin film transistor is provided with a gate electrode 32 connected with the gate bus line, a gate insulating layer, a semiconductor activating layer 36, a channel protecting film 38, a drain electrode 40 formed of a part of the drain bus line, and a source electrode 42 connected with the pixel electrodes; and at least either the drain electrode or the source electrode has constrictions 48, 50 in the position overlapping the end face of the semiconductor activating layer.</p> |
