PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a snow fall on blades of a cooling fan. SOLUTION: The cooling fan 1 provided at a top of a cooling tower 2 comprises channels 16, 17, 18 provided in a blade rotating output shaft 6 for mounting blades 7 of the fan 1 to receive air supply from an air supply tube 15 for feeding the air from outdoor and to supply the air to connecting surfaces of the blades 7, and a channel 19 for passing the blades 1 from outsides of the blades 7 opposed to exhaust ports 28 of the channels 16, 17, 18 to holes 31 of upper surfaces 30 of the blades 1.
