PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of installed sensors and avoid system complication for easily specifying a leakage position. SOLUTION: A leakage sound generated due to leakage is detected at each of two points of sets of ultrasonic sensors A and A', and B and B'. In this case, each leakage sound signal from the sets of the ultrasonic sensors A and A', and B and B' is read into a signal processing part 14 for finding the propagating direction of the leakage sound on the basis of the lag time of the leakage sound detected at the two points, and a zone where a leakage position exists is identified on the basis of the propagating direction.
