PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit and an air conditioner provided with an outdoor heat exchanger in which the heat exchange efficiency can be effectively improved. SOLUTION: An outdoor heat exchanger 20b is arranged in such a manner in which it covers totally three faces of a front face, a rear face, and a side face of an equipment body 20a. A propeller fan 20c is arranged on a side face that is newly formed when a corner part of the equipment body 20a is cut off. A compressor 20f is arranged adjacent to the center of the equipment body 20a. By this constitution, the contact area and time between a refrigerant passing through the outdoor heat exchanger 20b and outdoor air may be increased. Air flow due to the propeller fan 20c is formed all over the outdoor heat exchanger 20b so as to improve the heat exchange efficiency. Further, since the compressor 20f is in the path of the air flow, cooling of the compressor 20f is possible. |
