The door frame has metal uprights (1, 2) with seals and guides for a sliding window (5). The uprights are made from metal profiles appropriately bent or curved and have one or more hollow sections to contain reinforcing elements (9, 10, 11, 12) held in place by adjacent seal extrusions. The metal profiles used for the uprights have an H, h or U-shaped cross-section, with reinforcing elements used principally in the middle sections of the profiles and at the corners, where sections are welded together. The seals can be fitted to the uprights by direct extrusion. |
