PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the reliability of discrimination as to whether an image forming unit is a new product or not by making a mark showing that it has been used not to be returned easily to its original condition, and facilitating recycle of the image forming unit. SOLUTION: At the time of mounting an image forming unit 40 in the image forming device main body, by putting a contact body 44 of the image forming unit 40, temporally pushing in an operation rod 46 on a detecting means 45 provided in the device body, and, when completely mounted, the operation rod 46 is allowed so as to break through the contact body 44 by the repulsive force and to return to the former position, and moreover, from a series of on/off operation of the detecting means 45, the mounted image forming unit 40 is decided whether fresh or not, by controlling means 47. |
