PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a synchronization field transmitted by a broadcast control channel without using a divided matching filter and to execute time synchronization of digital radio signals. SOLUTION: A broadcast control channel is provided with synchronization symbols for one or more pairs of plural time slots. The symbols are the cyclic signals of exponential signals for instance and bring frequency shift to the broadcast control channel. The frequency shift is recognized by a receiver and synchronized with the time structure of transmission from a base station. Furthermore, the change of the frequency shift due to phase rotation relating to the inaccuracy of a local oscillator is compensated as well, and frequency synchronization is achieved. |
