<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for window operation which make it possible to see a lower-layer without moving a window by operating a pointing device. SOLUTION: This device consists of an application.window information storage part 38 which stores information on actuated application.window, etc., an application.window switching process part 40 which activates and inactivates windows, an application.window screen display process part 42 which makes an active window screen translucent and displays windows, a desk-top screen, and a background screen hidden under the window when a dial is moved, and a dial rotation information process part 44 which detects whether or not the dial is rotated and the rotating direction as rotation information on the dial.</p> |
