<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing pad which can be manufactured without going through a covering process of a low friction material and has desired deformability and low friction property at a film contacting surface by forming the film contacting surface on the surface of a deformable thin-walled part and forming the thin-walled part of the low friction material. SOLUTION: A contacting surface 43 in contact with a film 3 is formed on the surface of the thin-walled part 44 which is deformable by contacting with the film 3 and further the thin-walled part 44 is formed of the low friction material. Thereby when the film 3 is pressed, the thin-walled part 44 is bent and the surface 43 being in contact with the film 3 is deformed along the surface shape of a magnetic head 2. Thereby the film 3 can be firmly and closely adhered to the magnetic head 2 without using an elastic member such as rubber as a constituting member of the pad 4. Further, since the thin-walled part is constituted of the low friction material, friction generated with the film 3 is reduced and the film 3 can be smoothly supplied even if the film 3 is pressed to a magnetic head 2 side.</p> |
