PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a customer from leaving a customer information recording medium, capable of communicating information, behind by detecting whether there is the customer in formation recording medium without contacting by reading from the customer information recording medium once detecting the customer leaving the automatic teller device. SOLUTION: On a transaction card 41, customer information on an account number, etc., for identifying the customer is recorded. A customer information read means 4 consists of a transmitter and receiver for a radio wave and has a transmitting and receiving function of answering to the transaction card 41 being a noncontact IC card by radio. After a transaction is carried out on a host computer and a transaction information transmitting and receiving means 7 receives the transaction result, a cash handling means 5 discharges cash and a detailed statement issuing means 6 issues a detailed statement, thus completing the transaction. Then a customer detecting means 11 starts detecting the customer. When the customer is not detected any more, a customer information read means 4 tries to read customer information. When the same customer information is read, a guide means 2 gives the customer the guidance that the transaction card 41 is left behind. |
