PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a board mounting device which is capable of relaxing a board in positioning accuracy, when it is inserted into a case and improved in workability and reliability without increasing its cost. SOLUTION: A board mounting device is equipped with a case main body 1 provided with guide grooves 3 on its inner surface, and a case lid 7 fixed to the one edge face of the case main body 1. A circuit board is positioned and fixed in a case composed of the case main body 1 and the case lid 7, wherein the board guide groove 3 is uniform in width and as wide as w that is slightly larger than the thickness of the circuit board and provided with a tapered groove 3a that gets wider toward the edge face of the case main body 1 opposed to the case lid 7. The case lid 7 is equipped with fixing pawls 8 possessed of an energizing force that drives it in a direction in which it is fitted in the case main body 1 and board holders 9 for positioning and fixing the one edge of the circuit board, and the circuit board is smoothly and accurately inserted into the board guide groove 3 through the intermediary of the tapered groove 3a. |
