摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly constitute a gear shift mechanism by shortening a high torque transmission member, by juxtaposing a hydraulic servo of a first clutch of three clutches and a hydraulic servo of a third clutch in the shaft direction, and arranging a planetary gear set adjacently to a speed reduction planetary gear. SOLUTION: First/second/third clutches C-1, C-2, C-3 are respectively constituted of friction members 63, 55, 73 and hydraulic servos 6, 5, 7. A sun gear S3 constituting a fixed gear shift element of a speed reduction planetray gear G1 is connected to the tip part of the boss part 10a for supporting an input shaft 11 in the inner peripheral part of a transmission case 10. The friction members of the first/third clutches C-1, C-3 are arranged side by side in the shaft direction on the outer peripheral side of a planetary gear set G adjacently to the speed reduction planetary gear G1, and both clutches are formed as the almost same capacity. Thus, a degree of freedom of setting the gear ratio is improved by diametrical reduction in the sun gears S2, S3, and capacity is increased by a diametrical increase in both clutched to shorten a shaft directional dimension of a gear shift mechanism.
