PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin metal plate casing of simple structure, where both excellent electrical contact and shielding can be ensured between thin metal plates, and a seal is not excessively compressed. SOLUTION: A thin metal plate casing is composed of thin metal plates 1 and 2 having a synthetic resin seal 9 interposed in between. The first thin metal plate 1 is possessed of a bent part 10 which is bent along the seal 9 and brought into contact with the second thin metal plate 2. By this setup, a gap where the seal 9 is housed is formed adjacent to the bent part 10.
