PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool case excellent in protection of bonding wire in which a contained spool can be fitted to a bonding holder and removed therefrom without touching the spool directly and highly reliable holding state of spool can be sustained easily. SOLUTION: A spool 100 is held in a container body 1 by a holding means 6 disposed on the inside of the side face part 4 and can be handled without touching it with a hand. A bonding wire wound around the drum section 101 of the spool 100 is protected by a protective means 7 having a cover face part 5 and a bottom face part 3.
