PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute appropriate gray level correction corresponding to input data and an image processing condition and to output images desired by a user. SOLUTION: This image output device is provided with an intermediate data conversion part 110 for converting the input data inputted through a prescribed communication medium to intermediate data, a plotting part 111 for converting the intermediate data to raster data and an image output part 105 for outputting the images, based on the raster data. A scanner part 106 measures the gray level characteristics of an output result by the image output part 105 and a CPU 102 controls a correction part 113 to excute the correction processing of the gray level characteristics to one of the input data, the intermediate data and the raster data, based on the measured result. |
