PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a satisfactory color reproduction processing under a different observation condition by reading a profile having a plurality of measured color data depending on a plurality of light sources, selecting measured color data corresponding to an inputted observation condition, estimating measured color data corresponding to the observation condition and caching estimated measured color data in the profile. SOLUTION: A profile is read from an input profile 42, and XYZ→RGB relation data and an observation condition 1 are taken out from the profile. The XYZ value of a measured color light source reference is converted into the color perception space JCH of a man by a color perception model based on the white point of a D 50 light source being a measured color condition, for example, and is inverse-converted again to the XYZ value by using the color perception model based on the white point of a D65 light source being the observation condition 1 different from the measured color condition, for example. Thus, the relation of the XYZ value of the environment light reference and a device RGB value is obtained and conversion LUT corresponding to the observation condition 1 can be obtained.
