PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory protect system with which the deceleration of memory access speed is improved and the setting unit of a memory protect attribute can be reduced. SOLUTION: This memory protect system is provided with a main memory 2, a protect attribute setting memory 3 which has plural storage circuits respectively accessible by an address signal on the same address bus 11 as the main memory 2, stores the protect attribute of access to the main memory 2 for the address unit of access and inputs/outputs the protect attribute independently of data input/output on a data bus 12 of the main memory 2, and a memory protect attribute setting comparator 5 which compares the protect attribute stored in the protect attribute setting memory 3 with the attribute of access based on a control signal 13 to the main memory 2 and outputs the compared result as an interruption signal.
