<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable checking apparatus and a cable checker in which the phase of a core can be determined easily on the transmitting side and the receiving side of a polyphase cable. SOLUTION: Three cores of a three-phase AC cable are connected, one by on, with crocodile clips 6-8 and applied, to the other ends thereof, with voltages V1, V2, V3(V1<V2<V3). The voltages V1, V2, V3 are applied, respectively, to the cores of T, S, R phases. The clips connected with the R and T phases are conducted and a red LED is lighted in the clip connected with R phase whereas an yellow LED is lighted in the clip connected with T phase. Furthermore, the clips connected with the S and T phases are conducted and a blue LED is lighted in the clip connected with S phase.</p> |
