PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for the suspension for the hard disk head capable of high-speed access which can manufacture a 'wireless suspension' by a plating method with superior positional precision without using expensive photosensitive polyimide varnish which were conventionally difficult. SOLUTION: After a polyimide resin film is formed on the surface of stainless steel foil and patterned, a copper film is formed on the resin film and patterned to form a circuit. By this manufacturing method for the suspension, the resist layer is patterned on the foil surface, and a polyimide resin film is electrodeposited on its exposed part; after the above resist film is removed, a copper film is formed on the surface of the resin film and pattern to form the circuit. On the surface of the resin film, a metal layer is formed of an alloy consisting of one or more kind out of Cr, Ni, Co, Ti, and W or an alloy of the above metal and copper, and then the copper film is formed.
