PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device carrying out two-way display of the display making use of the outside light and the display making use of the light from the illumination panel both of which are sufficiently bright. SOLUTION: This display device is provided, in the rear of a liquid crystal display element 1, with the illumination panel 10 composed of an incident end face 12 taking in the light from a light source part 17, a first light guide body 11 composed of plural steps 14 and plural step-like faces 15 projecting the light taken in from the incident end face 12, and formed into a step-shape face 13 having a constant pitch and approximately same heights of the respective step- like faces 15, further having a front face provided with reflective films 16 on the respective steps 14, and a second light guide body 20 taking in the light outgoing from the step-like faces 15 and projecting it forward, and projecting the incoming light from the front to the back, then projecting, forward, the light reflected by the reflective films 16 on the steps 14 of the first light guide body 11 and incident from the back. |
