SUPPORTING BODY FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting body for a photographic paper which gives enough adhesion strength at a low cost even when the body is fast processed at a low resin temp. and which shows excellent whiteness and flatness. SOLUTION: This supporting body for a photographic paper consists of a base body having whiteness of >=75% and flatness Ra of <=20μm and a polyolefin resin film on the base body. The polyolefin resin has vinyl groups of 0.2 to 0.9 per 1000 carbon atoms at the end of the polymer chain, and the MI value of the resin is preferably 2 to 100. The supporting body for a photographic paper is protruded by surface treating the base body and a molten film to be formed into the polyolefin resin film.
