PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a tilting leg to be quickly retracted or extended. SOLUTION: A tilting leg 2 is provided to the base 1a of an equipment main body case 1 to regulate the case 1 in tilt angle. A holding part 3 where the threaded part 2a of the tilting leg 2 is screwed is longitudinally divided in two split parts 3a and 3b, and a support point 3c is provided to each lateral edge of the holding part 3 to enable the split parts 3a and 3b to open or close like scissors. A coil spring 6 is provided to the open end of the holding part 3 to energize the split parts 3a and 3b in a closing direction, so that threaded part 2a of the leg 2 is held by the split part 3a and 3b which are normally closed. A press button 4 which is pressed in from the outside of the support point 3c to energize the holding part 3 in an opening direction is provided outside the support point 3c, and the press button 4 is pressed inward to open the split parts 3a and 3b of the holding part 3 which are opened or closed like scissors. The button 4 is pressed to enable the split parts 3a and 3b to release the leg 2, whereby the leg 2 can be freely moved in or out.
