PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device adapted to reproduce a recording medium by housing plural recording media in housing sections inside a casing, and entering a reproducing section into a space between divided housing sections. SOLUTION: An automatic changer device 21 is provided with a stocker 23 capable of housing plural CDs 24. The stocker 23 is formed in a state that holders 39 capable of individually housing the CDs 24 are laminated, and a space is formed by division between optional holders 39. A turntable 38 is capable of advancing to the space formed by the division. A PU unit 25 including the turntable 38 is provided on a sliding base 30, and repulsively supported to float with respect to a casing 22. The floating state of the sliding base 30 is mechanically restricted and eliminated by using a locking mechanism 31. Since only the sliding base 30 is floated, a necessary space is reduced.
