PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the optimum condition by simply performing simulation by setting a desired condition in order to perform the column switching of a gas chromatograph. SOLUTION: The flow channel coming out of the column communicating with an injection port is divided to be constituted so that one flow channel reaches a detector (0) and the other one flow channel reaches a detector 10 through a main column and one of the divided flow channels is made freely selective by a valve and, further, the valve regulating the carrier gas allowed to flow to the flow channel is placed under the control of a valve controller and, further, the valve controller places the flow rates of respective parts under the control of a calculation and designation executing means from the data of an input item.
