PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concn. measuring method reduced in the generation of the measuring error caused by the trivial change of the transmission characteristics of a waveguide. SOLUTION: The frequency of a microwave is scanned (S1), and the characteristics of the reflection intensity or permeation intensity to each frequency (S2), and the sum (integrated value or average value) of the characteristics of the reflection intensity or permeation intensity in the frequency (S3), are calculated from these characteristics to compare the sum with a calibration curve to calculate the concn. of a suspended substance (S4, S5). The sum of the characteristics of the reflection intensity or permeation intensity in each frequency, when the frequency of a microwave is scanned by changing the temp. or conductivity of a suspended substance mixed soln., is calculated as a correction characteristic. From this characteristic, a concn. measured value is corrected corresponding to the change of the temp. or conductivcity of the suspended substance mixed soln.
