PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a drainage unit for air cycle system comprising first and second gas-liquid separators disposed, respectively, at the outlet of a heat exchanger for cooling compressed air and at the outlet of an expansion unit in which liquid on the low pressure side can be discharged simultaneously with that on the high pressure side while preventing backflow by providing a pressure loss mechanism in the liquid discharge passage of the first gas-liquid separator. SOLUTION: Working medium, i.e., air, is cooled by being passed through a compressor 1 and a heat exchanger 4 and then condensate is separated from the air by a gas-liquid separator 5 on the high pressure side. The condensate is collected and the air is sucked into an expansion unit 3. Moisture condensed the expansion process is collected to a gas-liquid separator 6 on the low pressure side and low temperature air is supplied into a room through an air supply passage 10. When the gas-liquid separators 5, 6 on the high pressure side and low pressure side discharge condensate simultaneously, pressure of the liquid being discharged from the high pressure side is reduced by a pressure loss mechanism 12 disposed in the way of a liquid discharge passage 11a on the high pressure side. Consequently, backflow of liquid being discharged from the low pressure side can be prevented and liquid from low and high pressure sides can be discharged through a common liquid discharge passage 11.
