The oscillation damping method provides electrical damping of a mechanically oscillating part by feedback of a voltage proportional to the current through a series oscillation circuit (R1,L1,C1) in parallel with a capacitance (C0) representing the oscillating component. An Independent claim for an electroacoustic transducer is also included.
