Proximity sensors (23, 24) for detecting an object by generating AC magnetic fields having different frequencies upward and by allowing the energy to be lost by the current generated by the AC magnetic fields are provided at the fore end of a transport electric car (V). A decelerator/stopper (W) forming two resonance circuits resonating at the frequencies of the proximity sensors (23, 24) is opposed to the proximity sensors (23, 24) at the side portion of a guide rail (B). A detection plate (25) for prevention of rear-end collision is provided at the rear end of the car (V). The detection plate (25) can enter the space between the first proximity sensors (23, 24) and the decelerator/stopper (W). Thus, no through hole made in the guide rail for wiring is needed unlike conventional guide rails when installing the decelerator/stopper (W) on the guide rail (B), thus facilitating the installing work.
