Electrical couplers or isolators for switch and control gear having contact bushings (grommets) with contact terminals with the gas-filled switch rooms. The contact grommets (KD) are made as synthetic resin parts and each has a deflector plate (DB) and deflector electrode (DE). The grommets (KD) each contain a control electrode (SE) with an external configuration extending, at least in parts, parallel to the obliquely bent deflector electrodes (DE), and are provided with sealing covers (VA) so that over a first screen (LS1), the inner region of the grommet (KD) is contacted at the switching potential, and over a second screen (LS2), the outer region of the grommets (KD) is contacted at earth potential. |
