<p>A method and system for routing a call incoming to a PBX network (16) telephone number (20) from outside the PBX based on subscriber location includes routing the call to a wireline switch (30) which detects PBX triggers, generating a query at the switch (30) to the SCP (34) upon detecting PBX triggers requesting mobile registration status data for the PBX number (106). Also, routing the call from the switch (30) to a PBX switch (18) for delivery to a PBX handset (20) when the subscriber mobile registration data indicates the subscriber is not wireless registered (108). Further, generating a mobile query at the SCP to a HLR (44) of the wireless network (14) when the mobile registration status data indicates the subscriber is wireless registered, and requesting current subscriber mobile location and wireless routing destination number (WRDN) (110). Also, communicating the WRDN from the HLR to the SCP, and generating messages to route the call to the wireless network (14, 114). The call is routed to the WRDN (116).</p> |
