<p>According to the present invention and in order to economically increase the resolution, a plurality of multi-polar signal-emitting transmission discs (1) are provided that essentially include magnetised poles (N; S). The rotation speed is calculated before the transmission discs (1) carry out a complete rotation on the basis of the signals detected by said poles in a detector (2, 3) which is provided at least on the stator side. The time errors of a signal sequence which are due to variations in the individual polar widths are detected for each pole in relation with the rotation angle and from a reference model of the polar widths stored for each transmission disc (1). These errors are then corrected as needed by comparison with a predetermined theoretical polar width.</p> |
