<p>The invention concerns a method for making an intermetallic alloy comprising iron and aluminium, reinforced by ceramic compound dispersoids, comprising the following steps: preparing a pre-alloyed powder of a parent alloy of iron and aluminium; dry grinding under neutral gas said pre-alloyed powder in a ball mill, a ceramic compound powder with initial particle-size distribution not more than 1 νm being added at the start of the grinding; degassing the resulting powder at the end of the grinding; extruding said powder to obtain an intermetallic alloy comprising iron and aluminium, reinforced with ceramic compound dispersoids.</p> |
