The unit has a receiver unit (6,6') followed by a signal processor unit (8), especially a microprocessor, and a transmission unit (2). An encoding stage (7) converts the signal received from the receiver unit, which can be an encoded signal, and feeds the code converted signal to the signal processor unit. Preferably the encoding stage can be in the form of a circuit with logic elements. The code converted signal is so encoded that it cannot be decoded in the receiver unit input signal in real time.
