The wheel has two ring-shaped contact faces (6',7'). The outer face is located on a conical surface and extends from the radially outermost contact circle (7'') axially outwards to the central aperture (3). The inner contact face is formed directly on the central aperture. Seen from the contact face of hub, brake drum, or brake disc (4), the edge (3') of the central aperture is at the conventional distance needed to generate spring action. The imaginary extension of the conical outer contact face ends axially outside that aperture edge.
