A personal computer in which a highly exothermic element such as CPU can be cooled effectively and which hardly interfere with office work and a desk with the computer incorporated thereinto. Specifically, a personal computer (10) formed in nearly the same shape as that of an ordinary office desk by being provided with a top board (20), side boards (21), and a cabinet (25), wherein user interfaces (31 and 32) are arranged on the top board (20), an electronic circuit board mounted with the CPU etc. is incorporated in the portion of the computer (10) near one of the side plates (21) so that the circuit board may transfer the heat generated from the CPU etc. to the side board (21), and drive units (60) and (61), etc. are incorporated in the cabinet (25); and a desk into which the computer (10) can be incorporated in such a way.
