The transponder, carried on or in a molded body, is fastened to an object. The body (M) has holders (e.g. a spire clip) corresponding with the fastening (B), which attaches it to the object. The molded body underside corresponds in shape with the external shape of the object. An Independent claim is included for method of manufacture.
